SHA 2026 Conference Registration Now Open

Dear SHA Members,

The SHA 2026 Conference on Historical and Underwater Archaeology will be held January 7-10, 2026 at the Detroit Marriott at the Renaissance Center.  Registration is now open online at https://www.conftool.com/sha2026/ until Monday, December 15, 2025.  After December 15, all registrations must be done onsite in Detroit.

Please note: If you are presenting a paper or poster at the 2026 Conference or participating as a discussant or panelist, you must register for the Conference at the full conference registration rate by November 1, 2025 to remain on the conference program.

The SHA room block also closes on Monday, December 15, 2025.  After that date, the hotel cannot guarantee that you will be able to book a room at the conference rate of $180.00 (plus tax).  Please don't delay in making your reservation at the hotel.
